Comprehensive General Overhaul

The OPS INGERSOLL GANTRY 1500 is comprehensively and professionally overhauled at our facility. As part of the overhaul, more than 70% of the machine is dismantled. All relevant components and wear parts are carefully inspected and, where necessary, professionally refurbished or replaced.

The following overhaul work is carried out:

• Inspection and, if necessary, replacement of the ball screws and ball bearings of the X, Y and Z axes
• Inspection and, if necessary, replacement of all four ball screws of the tank drive
• Inspection and testing of the C-axis for leak-tightness and accuracy
• Geometrical inspection of all axes in accordance with the OPS INGERSOLL inspection protocol
• Thorough cleaning of the complete machine base
• Cleaning of the entire work tank, including replacement of the felt wipers
• Overhaul of the dielectric pumps
• Replacement of all hydraulic and dielectric hoses
• Replacement of all pneumatic hoses
• Thorough cleaning of the electrical cabinet, generator and control system
• Replacement of all relevant fans and batteries
• Overhaul or, if necessary, replacement of power supplies, units and servo amplifiers
• Final laser measurement of the machine following completion of the overhaul

Quality inspection and EDM test

After completion of all overhaul work, the machine undergoes an extensive functional and quality inspection. 

This includes, in particular, a comprehensive EDM test in accordance with the quality and inspection specifications of OPS INGERSOLL. The relevant machine functions, as well as accuracy and process reliability, are thoroughly checked.

Production-Ready After Overhaul

Upon successful completion of the complete overhaul and final inspection, the OPS INGERSOLL GANTRY 1500 / 64 Bit is immediately ready for operation.With its high load capacity of 20,000 kg, generous axis travels and large working area, the machine is particularly well suited for the reliable machining of large and heavy workpieces in demanding production environments.
